Around the office, he’s MikeT. The Account Execs call him Papa T. But even though he’s been with Alstin for a century (give or take 75 years), Mike’s enthusiasm, humor, warmth and willingness to help with just about anything make him seem like a 20-something. It could be that he’s up on all the latest industry trends. It could be that he has a solution for every problem. Or, it could be his unabashed dedication to American Idol, myspace, and Celebrity Apprentice. A great listener and sounding board, MikeT is a quick thinker who’s incapable of losing his temper (...could be the fact that he’s a twin and had to wait his turn for everything growing up). Our Senior VP’s ability to stay calm in the hurricane of activity that is recruitment communications is one of his greatest strengths. He’s been there. He “gets” it. And most important, he truly listens.  Though co-workers would sometimes prefer that he close his door—especially when he’s listening to ELO, the O’Jays and Steely Dan (didn’t he compete against Fantasia?)—the fact is, with Mike, it’s always wide open.
